Coffee Break Spanish wins European Professional Podcast of the Year

Coffee Break Spanish was honoured this evening in a ceremony in Hamburg, Germany as European Professional Podcast of the Year, as part of the European Podcast Awards. Coffee Break Spanish host Mark Pentleton was in Hamburg to collect the award. In December Coffee Break Spanish was awarded UK Podcast of the Year in the Professional category and was put forward for the European award. We're delighted to receive this award and would like to thank all listeners who voted and the organisers of the European Podcast Awards.

Mark 'on tour'!

... well not quite! But we thought it was perhaps worth mentioning that Radio Lingua Managing Director Mark Pentleton will be attending New Media Expo in Vegas from Wednesday 13 through to Sunday 17 August. Mark is travelling via Reykjavík (Iceland) and Toronto/Windsor (Canada) to Vegas. And... if anyone happens to be walking the streets of Reykjavík, Toronto, Windsor, or Las Vegas and notices Mark walking around with a RadioLingua t-shirt on, please say 'hola', 'bonjour' or whatever other 'hello' you like! This week sees the annual BETT show at London's Olympia, Europe's premier educational technology exhibition and conference. Final preparations for the launch of Coffee Break French

Final preparations are underway for our launch of Coffee Break French next week. The French team is heading out to Paris this weekend in preparation for the launch. The Coffee Break French feed is already live and you can subscribe to it in iTunes or via the website. Prior to the launch we've been releasing promo shows about Coffee Break French and there will be another one of these later this week explaining what the course will involve. Coffee Break French goes live at 18h00 on Wednesday 26th September when we'll launch with a video introduction from Paris. While in Paris we'll also be working on something else, but at this stage we'll have to keep that top secret! More information in the coming months!
