Radio Lingua On Vacation

We're going to be "shutting shop" from Saturday 5th July through to Monday 21 July for our summer break. During this time our on-going podcasts will continue to be published and our store will remain fully open. All orders are delivered automatically with the exception of CBS and CBF subscriptions, but these will be processed by a skeleton staff. Any Season Pass purchases will be automatically delivered to customers. Before you buy we would strongly suggest that you add sales [at] radiolingua.com and support [at] radiolingua.com to your address book / whitelist to make sure that you receive your download email.

During the two week vacation period we will not be able to respond individually to support emails. All queries will be dealt with on our return on or around 21 July. Thank you for your patience and understanding at this time, and if you're going on vacation, hopefully you'll get the chance to use some of the language skills you've been developing with our help!

Two new products in store now

Two new products have been added to the Radio Lingua store today. We're currently publishing A Flavour of German in fortnightly episodes, but if you can't wait until mid-September to get access to the whole series, purchase our Season Pass now, complete with the pdf lesson guide featuring additional examples of the phrases we cover in each lesson.

We've also released a pack of all six One Minute Languages courses: if you're an aspiring omniglot you can purchase all ten lessons of One Minute German, Irish, Luxembourgish, Norwegian, Polish and Russian for a one-off cost of £14.00. Coffee Break Spanish - we need your help

We need your help to decide the content of the next lessons of Coffee Break Spanish. At the moment we're planning up to lesson 80 and we'll be maintaining the current style of lesson up until then. If you're a CBS listener, what do you feel you really need to know? Are there any vocabulary topics we've not covered? Radio Lingua Help Desk

Over the past few weeks we've been working on a new Help Desk system which will help to provide a better support mechanism for our customers and listeners. We've introduced the beta version of this today and would request that from now all, all support issues are either sent to us via the Help Desk, or to the email address support [at] radiolingua.com. Please note that although we have been testing the help desk for some time, we are still in beta status. Please bear with us if there are any problems while we're still in beta!

Coffee Break Spanish reaches episode 60

We're delighted that Coffee Break Spanish has now reached episode 60, marking the end of unit 6 of our course. Episode 60 offers some review of episodes 51-59, so we're testing Kara on her knowledge of the preterite and imperfect tenses! To find out how she gets on, visit the CBS Lesson Library.

Radio Lingua introduces One Minute Luxembourgish

We're delighted to announce the latest addition to our One Minute Languages range, One Minute Luxembourgish. Luxembourgish is one of three national languages in Luxembourg and is very close to German but has heavy French influences both in certain aspects of vocabulary and in pronunciation. One Minute Luxembourgish was, in fact, the very first of our OML courses to be recorded. By chance, Julie, our Luxembourgish teacher, happened to be staying with friends in Scotland and we thought it would be a good idea to invent a short course which could be produced quickly during her stay. We recorded ten episodes of the show one afternoon and the One Minute Languages idea was born. We're finally ready to release OML Luxembourgish to the world and it is our sixth title in the series. Coming soon: Catalan and Japanese!

Getting back on track

Over the past few weeks we've had quite a number of things to deal with including family illnesses, end-of-year tax returns and day-job commitments. We're getting back on track now and I'm pleased to report that Coffee Break Spanish lesson 59 is now available, and Coffee Break French lesson 18 has been added to the feeds and website. One Minute Norwegian continues with weekly episodes and I'm pleased to report that we've got some new content in store in the coming weeks for French, German and Spanish learners. We'll also be sending out a newsletter very soon with all the details and a discount code for our premium season passes. If you're not already subscribed, make sure you join our mailing list. One Minute Norwegian launches

We're delighted to announce that the latest addition to our One Minute Languages range will be launched on Monday 17th March. Since we've already introduced One Minute Irish, we have decided to use St Patrick's day to launch One Minute Norwegian. You can access the podcast online or subscribe already in iTunes. Like our other One Minute Languages courses, the podcasts will be published weekly and each lesson will include a few useful phrases in Norwegian. Lykke til!
