Your podcasts are very helpful. My American English is sounding more Scottish every day! I would be pleased if you would request your engineer to equalize the music and voice levels a bit more. I need to turn up the voice to hear well but then I need to turn down the music volume.

Thanks for your comments, Dale. In fact, our "engineer" also happens to be the teacher, producer, graphic designer, musician and everything else (apart from the learner!) associated with CBS - we're a very small team and we're doing our best to bring you a quality podcast each week. I'll try to equalise the recordings a bit more in the future. Apologies for the inconvenience!

I travel to Peru every year and finally got tired of trying to learn Spanish by picking it up "here and there." So I just finished my first semester of Spanish 101 at a local university here in New Jersey in thye US. In between semesters, I had planned to review and converse and listen to anything I could get my ears on. A colleague gave me an iPod for Christmas and when it arrived today, I stumbled on your podcast. It is perfect with a cup of coffee in the morning. And "Me encanta cafe!" Love the podcast and hope to pick up a few t-shirts.
